Derby Madness

Though there wasn't a demolition derby in New Rockford this year, neighboring town Sheyenne did host quite a mash-up. Despite the 95 degree heat, no shade, dusty dusty conditions and a serious lack of beer, we quite enjoyed ourselves. The best part ( I think) is that at the END of the derby, all the cars left in running condition are given over to the women to run a 'Powder Puff' round. Not quite the equality I'd like to see in this day and age, but what the heck.
