I've always noticed that Minnesota license plates, rare as they are in NYC, feature the tagline 'Land of 10,000 lakes'- seems like a LOT of lakes, but i wasn't prepared for REALLY how many there are! Flying over the state you can see how much water there is in the landscape- makes for some cool pics.
